President Asif Ali Zardari has constituted the 11th National Finance Commission under Article 160 of the Constitution.

To this respect a notification has been shared on X by Advisor to Finance Minister, Khurram Schehzad.

The Federal Minister for Finance will serve as the chair of the commission, with all four provincial finance ministers and nominated experts as its members.

The NFC will be responsible for recommending the distribution of federal revenues, allocation of grants, borrowing powers, and cost-sharing mechanisms for national development projects.
