Fourteen year old student Malaika Khilji has become first woman mountaineer from Balochistan to summit Khosar Gang Peak.

The expedition, organized under the auspices of Alpine Club of Pakistan, marks an important milestone in Pakistan’s mountaineering history.

After summiting the peak, Malaika unfurled the national flag, symbolising her love for the country and the determination and courage of Pakistani youth.

The Alpine Club of Pakistan congratulated Malaika Khilji and her family on this historic achievement.
