Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal has invited Samsung to transform Pakistan into a regional manufacturing, refurbishment and export hub for mobile phones.

Talking to a delegation led by the Country Head of Samsung Pakistan in Islamabad, he assured the company that the government would facilitate them in promoting exports, value addition and industrial investment.

Jam Kamal appreciated the proposal of Samsung establishing certified mobile phone refurbishment facilities in Pakistan.

The Samsung delegation briefed the Minister on the progress of Pakistan’s mobile phone manufacturing sector and highlighted the company’s investment in local assembly.
