Minister for Religious Affairs visits Control Office of Pakistan Hajj Mission, Makkah

Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Talha Mahmood visited the Main Control Office of the Pakistan Hajj Mission at Makkah to review Hajj arrangements and address potential challenges.

Radio Pakistan correspondent from Makkah, Javed Iqbal reports that during his visit, Director General Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro gave a comprehensive overview of the Hajj arrangements. He emphasized that the safety of pilgrims is of utmost importance in the Hajj arrangements.

He said dedicated Moavineen from Pakistan, wearing flags and vests, have been strategically stationed at multiple locations in Mina and Arafat to provide guidance and assistance to pilgrims.

On the occasion, the Minister stressed on the importance of enhancing coordination with the Saudi Makatab to ensure a seamless experience for pilgrims.

Senator Talha Mahmood also directed his Ministry's officials to strengthen the monitoring of private Hajj Group Organizers with stricter measures in place.

He also paid visits to different departments within the main hospital located in the Aziziayah area, where he personally interacted with patients and pilgrims.

Later in a statement, the Minister said that 99 percent of the pilgrims expressed their satisfaction over Hajj arrangements and the medical facilities provided to them.
