The funeral prayers of Sepoy Gul Rauf Shaheed and Sepoy Abid Ullah Shaheed were offered at Bannu and at their respective hometowns.

According to ISPR, they embraced shahadat on Tuesday when an improvised explosive device exploded in general area at Spinwam in North Waziristan District.

The Shaheeds were laid to rest with full military honours.

Senior serving and retired officers, soldiers, relatives and large number of people attended the funerals.

The ISPR further said Pakistan Army remains committed to ensure the defence of the motherland at all costs.
