Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed concerned officers to remain on the frontline during Eid-ul-Azha to ensure effective implementation of administrative measures across the province.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore today, the Chief Minister issued comprehensive guidelines regarding Eid arrangements, security, sanitation and public facilitation.

She announced that a fine of fifty thousand rupees would be imposed on anyone found disposing of animal waste and offal in streets, neighborhoods, drains, or canals.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif also ordered strict enforcement of the ban on animal hide collection by banned organizations during Eid-ul-Azha.

The Chief Minister directed authorities to ensure a complete ban on aerial firing and the display of weapons.
