Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee of the Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Programme in Islamabad today.

The Committee reviewed the programme and expressed satisfaction with its progress. It further directed that any savings from previous years may be utilized within the same sector and province.

Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister reiterated the importance of involving local communities in identifying infrastructure development schemes to ensure that Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Programme funds are utilized in the best interest of the people.
