Every possible effort is being made for the rescue of stranded six Pakistani nationals onboard a Tugboat (MEHR) stranded in the Red Sea.

In a statement today (Monday), responding to media queries regarding the Foreign Office Spokesperson said the government is actively pursuing the matter.

He said we are in close contact with the concerned authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Egypt.

He said we are also in contact with the stranded Pakistanis and have told them that efforts are being made by the Government for their rescue at the earliest possible.
