All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that India's repressive and coercive tactics will not succeed in breaking the Kashmiris' resolve to struggle for their legitimate demand for the right to self-determination.

APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas stated this after a meeting in Srinagar today.

The meeting expressed concern over the plight of Kashmiri political detainees, including APHC Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt and Shabbir Ahmad Shah.

It described the inhuman treatment of detainees in jails as a test case for international human rights organizations.

The participants of the meeting also urged watchdogs to send teams to assess the conditions of detainees held in different Indian jails.

The APHC urged Kashmiris to observe 27th October as Black Day and renew their pledge to continue the peaceful struggle for the UN-recognized right to self-determination.
