Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has supported the creation of new provinces in Balochistan.

He was speaking at the national debate on administrative restructuring of Pakistan in Islamabad today. He emphasized that the vast region of Balochistan cannot be governed effectively from Quetta alone.

Participating in the debate, former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi backed the establishment of administrative units at the level of divisions.

Former Finance Minister Asad Umar said an empowered local government system is important to improve service delivery.
