Three-day Shandur Polo Festival 2025 is underway at Shandur Polo ground, Gilgit Baltistan.

In the opening match of the polo tournament, Chitral team defeated Ghizer by 6-3.

Thousands of domestic and foreign polo fans are attending the three-day festival underway at an altitude of 12,000 feet.

The festival has been organized in collaboration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan Governments, Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North.

At the opening ceremony of the festival, SSG commandos of Pak Army made parachute landing into the Polo Ground and received a huge applause from audience.  Paragliders of Pak Army School of Physical Training also presented a brilliant performance at the event.
