Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb says the ever-growing Pakistan-China relations will have a huge business impact in the future, along with their strategic significance.
In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan's correspondent Zafar Iqbal Mayo, he said the government launched its inaugural Panda Bond last week, tapping Chinese capital markets for the first time.
Reflecting on the evolution of bilateral economic cooperation, Muhammad Aurangzeb noted that the first phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor was focused on infrastructure and its development. He said now fostering business-to-business ties is the hallmark of the second phase of CPEC.
Muhammad Aurangzeb further said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit China next week, leading a high-level delegation.
