Thirty-third death anniversary of revered Kashmiri leader Ghazi e Millat Syed Ali Ahmed Shah is being observed on Tuesday.

Syed Ali Ahmad Shah was one of the close associates of Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas, who played a pivotal role in the freedom struggle of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

President and Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir have paid rich tributes to him and said that the deceased was one of the prominent Kashmiri leaders who presented the historic Accession to Pakistan Resolution during a meeting held in Srinagar on 19 July 1947.
