Russian President Vladimir Putin has suspended a bilateral nuclear arms control treaty, the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty, with the United States.

Delivering his annual address to the Federal Assembly in Moscow, today, he also warned the West over Ukraine and resuming nuclear tests.

Putin said his country would achieve its war aims and accused the West of trying to destroy Russia.

He also accused that some people in Washington are thinking about resuming nuclear testing.
