
The government has put in place the modern security arrangements on the Jaffar Express to ensure safe rail travel for the people of Balochistan.
To this respect, Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi reviewed the security measures for the Jaffar Express during his visit to Quetta.
He said a round the clock surveillance of railway tracks, installation of modern security cameras, and the availability of adequate security personnel on board the train have been ensured.
The Minister appreciated efforts of the Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan for ensuring train's foolproof security arrangements.
He emphasized that the protection of passengers' lives and property remains the top priority of the government and the Pakistan Army.
