A five-day Children Training Program in "Embroidery & Stone Carving" started at Lok Virsa in Islamabad on Monday.

The program aims at promoting traditional skills, encouraging master artisans and inculcating awareness among younger generation, especially children about the indigenous folk crafts of Pakistan.

Master artisans in embroidery and stone carving have been invited to provide hands on training to children about their respective craft fields.

Lok Virsa will also provide material for the training classes free of cost.
