President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have paid rich tribute to the security forces for their successful operation against terrorists on Pakistan Highway near Kalat, Balochistan.

In their separate statements, they praised the security forces for their timely and effective operation, which resulted in the neutralization of terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan.

They also lauded the security forces for safely rescuing abductees from the terrorists' hideout and recovering trucks, buses, and other vehicles.

The President reaffirmed that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its security forces in the war against terrorism.

The Prime Minister reiterated that decisive counter-terrorism operations under operation "Azm-e-Istehkam" will continue to completely eliminate foreign-sponsored and foreign-supported terrorism from the country.
