On the instructions of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, an operation has been launched against encroachments and illegal constructions in Saidpur Model Village.

Two hundred illegal constructions have so far been demolished and one hundred and ninety-one kanals of land belonging to the National Park have been reclaimed from illegal occupants.

The Interior Minister visited Saidpur Model village and reviewed the operation against illegal constructions.

He inspected the progress on upgradation and beautification work in Saidpur Village.

The Minister directed that action against encroachments and illegal constructions around Saidpur Village should continue without discrimination.

He said vacated buildings will be auctioned transparently.

Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the performance of CDA in the operation against illegal constructions.

He said that eliminating all kinds of illegal constructions in the area is a top priority.

The Interior Minister said renowned restaurants from Karachi and Lahore will be brought to Saidpur Village.

He said revival of Saidpur Village will enhance the beauty of Islamabad and provide the people with a new recreational spot.

He said all resources will be utilized to turn Saidpur Village into a world-class recreational center.
