The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has emphasized the need for greater unity among Kashmiris to effectively pursue their rightful demand for a plebiscite to ascertain the political future of the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas issued a statement in Srinagar, terming the Kashmir dispute a political and human problem.

He said the freedom-loving people of Kashmir have made unprecedented sacrifices for the sacred mission of justice and freedom from Indian subjugation since 1947.

The Spokesperson said that India is misleading the world about the situation in the Jammu and Kashmir, as it cannot retain its illegal occupation through military might and state terrorism forever.
