U.S. President Donald Trump has credited Pakistan for helping the United States secure a peace agreement with Iran.

During an interview with an American media outlet Axios, he said Pakistani leaders leveraged their deep familiarity with Iranian counterparts, playing a vital role in a complex negotiation process.

Praising Pakistan’s leadership, Donald Trump said Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif are great leaders.
