United States has reaffirmed its commitment to helping Saudi Arabia defend itself from external threats.

This was reaffirmed during the US-Saudi Strategic Joint Planning Committee meeting in Pentagon.

The US Secretary of Defence for Policy Dr. Colin Kahl led the American delegation and Saudi Vice Minister of Defence His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman led the Saudi delegation during the meeting.

Both sides reaffirmed the strength of the U.S.-Saudi defense partnership.
