
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has granted in-principle approval for establishment of first Skill City in the province.
Chairing a meeting in Lahore today, she directed authorities to engage highly qualified instructors for technical education.
She directed that the curriculum be designed in consultation with experts from industrial sectors to ensure alignment with market demands.
Under the program, youth will receive both technical and practical training in fields such as graphic designing, media production, fashion designing, data coding and tourism.
In addition, training will be provided in industrial electrician work, plumbing, solar water heating systems, professional culinary arts and allied health professions.
