In India, Copngress Party has vowed to pass resolutions against the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act in all states where it is in power.                    

In a statement, senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel said resolutions against CAA will be passed in state assemblies of Rajasthan, Madhya Pardesh and Chhattisgarh to send a clear message to the central government to reconsider the Act.        

State assemblies of Punjab and Kerala have already passed resolutions seeking repeal of Citizenship Amendment Act.
