Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has stressed the importance of timely cancer diagnosis and treatment, saying modern medical facilities are essential to saving lives.

In her message on World Breast Cancer Awareness Day, she said the world’s largest Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital is being built in Lahore.

She said the hospital will be equipped with the latest machinery and medicines to provide treatment for all types of cancer, including breast cancer at every stage.
