Nation celebrates Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW) with religious, traditional zeal

Nation celebrates Eid Milad-un-Nabi Sallallah-o-Alaihe Wa Aalehe Wassallum on Tuesday with traditional zeal and fervour and renewing the pledge to transform their lives in line with the Islamic principles and disseminate teachings of the Holy Prophet Sallallah-o-Alaihe Wa Aalehe Wassallum.

The day dawned with 31 and 21 gun salutes in the federal and provincial capitals respectively, following a night of Mahafil-e-Naat and conferences across the country.

Special prayers were offered in mosques for upholding and flourishing of Islam and religious teachings, unity, solidarity, progress, and welfare of the Muslim Ummah.

Streets and roads, as well as bazaars, shopping centres, government and private buildings have been beautifully decorated and illuminated with lights, colours and banners bearing writings about the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi Sallallah-o-Alaihe Wa Aalehe Wassallum.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's Missions abroad organized various events to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi with religious zeal and fervour.

The Pakistan Embassy in Denmark wished Muslims in Denmark a blessed 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal. The Embassy building was illuminated and Pakistan Ambassador also participated in an event organized by the Pakistani community.

An event on “Naat” literature was hosted by Consulate General of Pakistan in Toronto on the occasion of Eid Milad-un - Nabi.

To express love and respect for the Holy Prophet Peace and blessings of Allah be upon Him, the last and final of all messengers of Allah, a ceremony was organised at the Consul General House in Hong Kong. Moral qualities and characteristics of our beloved Prophet PBUH were highlighted on the occasion.

Pakistan Embassy in Vietnam also organized a virtual event to commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). The virtual ceremony was attended by a large representative group of the community in Vietnam.

Similarly, Pakistan's Embassy building in Kyrgyzstan was illuminated with lightning on the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi.

The Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo also organized a Mehfil-e- Milad to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH).

On the auspicious occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awal, Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi celebrated Eid Milad-un-Nabi at the High Commission’s premises.

The High Commission’s building and the Chancery mosque were decorated and illuminated at night to mark this revered occasion.

Officers and staff of the High Commission attended Mehfil-e-Milad at the Chancery’s mosque. Tilawat and Naat recitation competition was held. The Chargé d'Affaires distributed prizes among the children. Special prayers were offered for peace and prosperity of the country and the world as a whole.

The High Commission, on this occasion, wished Muslims in India and across the world a very happy Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
