Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has reiterated the government's commitment to address the challenges being faced by the people of Balochistan.

He expressed these views while talking to the President of the National Party, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, who called on him in Islamabad along with parliamentary members of his party.

The Deputy Prime Minister said the government was also committed to helping the people in achieving their legitimate aspirations for economic prosperity and development within the framework of the Constitution of Pakistan.

Dr Abdul Malik Baloch thanked the Deputy Prime Minister and stated that the National Party was willing to work together with all for the betterment and welfare of the people of Balochistan.

He highlighted that the insurgents operating in the province had neither support nor legitimacy in the hearts of the people of Balochistan.

Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah Khan and Special Assistant to PM Tariq Bajwa also attended the meeting.
