
Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf says all camps allocated to Pakistani pilgrims in Mina are fully air-conditioned to provide a comfortable environment in view of weather conditions.
He said this while visiting the tent city of Mina, where he reviewed facilities and accommodation arrangements for Pakistani pilgrims.
The Minister said the tents are equipped with sofa-cum-beds, enabling pilgrims to conveniently use them for both sitting and sleeping purposes. He added that elevated storage racks have also been provided to ensure ample space for keeping luggage and personal belongings.
Sardar Muhammad Yousaf emphasized that every possible measure is being taken to provide maximum facilities and a peaceful environment to the pilgrims so they can perform their religious obligations with ease and devotion.
He, once again, urged intending pilgrims to strictly follow the rules, regulations and instructions issued by the Saudi government, saying these measures are aimed at ensuring the smooth, disciplined and safe conduct of Hajj.
During the visit, the Chief Executive Officer of Al Rajhi Tawafa Company briefed the Minister on arrangements made for Pakistani pilgrims and conducted a detailed tour of the tents allocated to them in Mina.
After inspecting the accommodation and available facilities, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and appreciated the efforts being made for the welfare and convenience of the pilgrims.
According to Radio Pakistan's Correspondent Asad Ullah Khan, the Minister was accompanied by Secretary Religious Affairs Abrar Ahmad Mirza, Director General Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro, Director Makkah Arif Aslam and other senior officials.
