Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh attended a special event organized by Friends of Pakistan (FOP) in Los Angeles to commemorate Youm-e-Tashakkur.

Speaking on the occasion, he praised the courage and professionalism of the armed forces in defending the homeland and commended Pakistani-American community for their unwavering support during the hostilities. He noted that Youm-e-Tashakkur is a symbol of national pride, dignity, and unity.
