The first-ever National Blood Transfusion Policy has been implemented due to tireless efforts of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) following its approval by the Federal Cabinet.

The SIFC provided full facilitation for the policy with inter-ministerial and inter-provincial cooperation.

A revolutionary step has been taken in the health and biotech sector with the introduction of the Plasma Fractionation method, which will bring self-sufficiency in plasma production.

This policy will help Pakistan gain access to global markets by creating export potential for plasma-derived products.
