Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi says record production of cotton in province will save two billion dollars in foreign exchange.

He said this during a meeting with Governor State Bank of Pakistan Jameel Ahmad in Lahore today.

He said Punjab government wants to achieve goal of higher production in agriculture sector by giving subsidies and easy loans to farmers.

On this occasion, Governor State Bank appreciated valuable steps of Punjab government to improve agriculture and other sectors.

He said better production of cotton, rice and other crops will have a positive impact on economy.
