October 18, 2026

Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has made significant progress during the current year in promoting investment and development initiatives across key sectors of the economy.

In the industrial sector, the approval of seven new cement plants was facilitated, with an expected investment of around 700 million dollars.

In the energy domain, the SIFC assisted in securing approval for the 435-kilometer White Oil Pipeline.

With the support of SIFC, pending approvals for Jet Green's three-million-dollar private airline project were cleared.

In the health and mining sectors, work on the national vaccine policy, drug testing, and mineral value-addition was taken forward.

SIFC also expanded investment linkages with major trade partners, including China, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Australia and Japan.
