In Afghanistan, at least sixty-two people were killed and nearly hundred others injured in two blasts inside a mosque in Nangarhar province during Friday prayers today.

Officials say the incident took place at approximately 2 pm local time in the Jaw Dara area of Haska Meyna district.

Most of the wounded have been shifted to hospitals for medical treatment.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the blasts.
