Director General Punjab Rangers Major General Saqib Mehmood Malik met with Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in Lahore today.

Chief Minister felicitated Saqib Mehmood on taking charge of DG Rangers responsibilities and expressed good wishes for him.

Sardar Usman Buzdar paid rich tribute to the Rangers officers and jawans to maintain peace specially in Karachi. He also appreciated bravery of Ranger personnel's bravery on performing duties to protect boundaries of the country.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that  whole nation is proud on brave Rangers officials. He said that rangers have played n important role to maintain peace in the country.

Sardar Usman Buzdar said that Pak Army, Rangers, police, and other armed forces have sacrificed their lives for elimination of terrorism from the country.

He said that today's Pakistan is peaceful and stronger.
