Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, along with senior officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on her last day in office on Thursday.

The Foreign Secretary briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on key areas of work undertaken during her tenure, ongoing diplomatic engagements, and important matters requiring continued attention.

Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of ensuring continuity and sustained momentum across these areas.

He directed senior officers of the Ministry to maintain close coordination, ensure effective follow-up on ongoing engagements and priorities, and carry forward the work with a clear focus on advancing Pakistan's foreign policy objectives and national interests.
