Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has emphasized the need to further expand Pakistan-France bilateral cooperation.

He was talking to French Ambassador Nicolas Galey, who paid a farewell call on him in Islamabad today.

The Deputy Prime Minister also stressed the importance of sustained high-level exchanges, dialogue and engagement on bilateral and regional matters of mutual interest.

Ishaq Dar congratulated the French Ambassador on the completion of his assignment and appreciated his contribution to further strengthening Pakistan-France relations.

On the occasion, French Ambassador Nicolas Galey thanked the Deputy Prime Minister and the Government of Pakistan for the support extended to him during his tenure.
