May 18, 2026

Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has expressed satisfaction over Hajj arrangements.

He made these remarks during his visit to the Pakistan Hajj Mission’s main Medical Clinic in Makkah today.

Radio Pakistan’s correspondent Asad Ullah Khan reports from Saudi Arabia that he inspected the reception, OPD, dental, ultrasound and pharmacy sections of the clinic.

He reviewed medical facilities, availability of medicines, and the deployment of doctors and paramedical staff at the clinic, which is providing round-the-clock care to the intending pilgrims.

Speaking to the media after the inspection, the Minister said the government’s top priority is to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of every Pakistani pilgrim.

He said the Mission has been directed to maintain the highest standards of service, particularly in healthcare and emergency response.

He noted that the majority of medical, technical, and welfare staff have already assumed duties in Makkah and Madinah and systems for complaint redressal are functioning without delay.

The Minister praised the coordination between Pakistani officials and Saudi authorities, calling the arrangements “well-organized and pilgrim-friendly”.

He added that the Ministry is monitoring operations closely to address any issues immediately on the ground.
