The First Pakistan-Bahrain Investment Opportunities Summit and Smart Expo was successfully held in Manama, Bahrain.

The event was jointly organized by the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Bahrain.

Second Vice Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mohamed Abduljabbar Alkoheji graced the inaugural session as the Guest of Honour.

The closing ceremony was attended by Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Kingdom of Bahrain.Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro.

Over 125 delegates from prominent Pakistani companies participated in the summit, representing key sectors including Information Technology, the Stock Exchange, Human Resource services, and Real Estate. The companies presented a wide range of investment-ready projects, drawing strong interest from Bahraini business leaders and the Pakistani community based in Bahrain.

The summit aimed to promote bilateral economic collaboration and highlight Pakistan's vast investment potential. It also served to strengthen investor confidence in exploring opportunities within the Bahraini market.

A series of Business-to-Business meetings were held on the sidelines of the Expo. Pakistani businesses showcased their products and services through dedicated stalls and presentations to prospective Bahraini investors.

According to initial estimates, the summit facilitated business deals worth approximately 12 million US dollars, an encouraging sign of growing economic ties between Pakistan and Bahrain.

The event marked a significant step towards deepening bilateral commercial relations and promoting regional economic integration.
