Chairman Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister's Inspection and Implementation Commission Raja Mansoor Khan says incumbent government has launched a comprehensive program to ensure transparency and efficiency in all departments as well as early completion of all development projects in the state.
This he stated during an exclusive interview with News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan.
Raja Mansoor Khan said PTI government is taking tangible measures to ensure good governance at all levels and service delivery for the welfare of people particularly in far-flung areas.
In reply to a question, he said after 32 years, local government elections are being held in Azad Jammu and Kashmir to empower people at grass roots level and sharing of funds for development through their representatives.
Raja Mansoor Khan said a comprehensive development package of 500 billion rupees is being designed to improve infrastructure of basic amenities in the state and mega projects in different sectors including tourism and Information Technology.
He said development and promotion of tourism will bring prosperity for people and creation of job opportunities.
In reply to another question, the Chairman Inspection and Implementation Commission said provision of health cards to all citizens has provided a big relief for treatment and Prime Minister Imran Khan fulfilled his promise with people.
