A Special Court in Islamabad has awarded death sentence to former President, Pervez Musharraf in high treason case.

Three-member bench of the court, headed by Peshawar High Court Chief Justice, Justice Waqar Ahmad Seth announced the verdict today.

Earlier, the court had reserved judgment in the case on the 19th of last month.
