Pakistan has reiterated its enduring commitment to multilateralism.

It was expressed by Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the UN Asim Iftikhar Ahmad at an event hosted by Pakistan UN Club in connection with Pakistan's Independence Day at the UN Headquarters in New York.

The Ambassador underscored Pakistan’s constructive role in advancing regional and international peace and stability, including its efforts to facilitate dialogue during the recent US-Iran crisis. He also highlighted Pakistan’s active contribution to the work of the UN Security Council, including its role in advancing initiatives aimed at promoting the peaceful settlement of disputes.
