Three-day 311th Urs celebrations of great Sufi saint Hazrat Shah Inayat Shaheed started at Dargah Jhok Sharif in Sujawal district on Wednesday.

The Gadinashin of Dargah Sufi Attaullah Sattari has inaugurated the three days Urs celebrations.

During three days of the Urs, various programs including music, Sindhi traditional game Malakhra will be held and famous Sufi singers will pay rich tribute to the sufi saint of Pakistan by singing Sufi Kalams.

According to our Hyderabad Correspondent, Shah Inayat remains a household name in Sindh for centuries and his anti-feudal ultra-revolutionary slogan “Jo kherey so khaaye” (He who tills has the right to eat) has inspired several peasant movements in the province.

Thousands of devotees across the country have reached at the shrine to pay rich tribute to the great sufi saint.

In this regard, the Sindh Government has declared a local holiday today in the district.
