President Dr. Arif Alvi has stressed for introduction of e-textbooks in the country to impart latest knowledge to the youth.

Addressing the annual conference of Asian Association of Open Universities in Lahore on Wednesday, he noted the world has changed due to revolution in the information technology. He said modern communication tools should be fully utilized to impart knowledge. He said today people have access to their favorite books through the internet.

President Arif Alvi also highlighted the importance of distance learning saying it helps save time and expenditures.
