
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has made it clear that the State of Pakistan will go to the last extent for the defence and stability of the country.
He was speaking at the first ever meeting of the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Attaullah Tarar said there is no place for terrorists in the country and the government is committed to wipe out scourge of terrorism from the country.
He said Paigham-e-Pakistan is the name of defending the ideological frontiers of the country and it gave a clear cut message that there can be no Jihad against the State of Pakistan and decrees of Ulema also exist in this connection.
The Minister said Paigham-e-Pakistan is also the name of protecting the rights of minorities and the role of the non-Muslim community for interfaith harmony will be written in golden words.
He said the message of peace through the platform of National Paigham-e-Aman Committee will be spread across the country by organizing conferences, seminars and using social media tools.
Attaullah Tarar made it clear that facilitators, supporters and abettors of terrorists are also terrorists.
He said Pakistan sacrificed more than ninety thousand people in the war on terrorism. He said terrorists have no creed, colour or race.
The Minister also paid glowing tribute to the valiant armed forces of Pakistan for playing unforgettable and matchless role in the war on terrorism and for defence of the motherland.
