PDMA issues alert for possible heavy rains across province from Thursday to Sunday

The widespread rains across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have claimed twenty-one lives and left thirty-two people injured during the past five days.

According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority, at least three hundred and thirty houses were damaged in rain-related incidents.

Meanwhile, flood water entered a populated area of Nowshera's Aman Garh.

Rescue 1122 teams are removing people and other valuable goods trapped in the flood.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government also cancelled the matriculation annual exam papers from Thursday to Saturday in Chitral due to rains.

On the other hand, Punjab Disaster Management Authority has forecast of heavy rains in the province from Thursday to Sunday. In this connection, rescue agencies completed all necessary arrangement.
