Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has appreciated the role of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority in promoting the ideology of Pakistan, strengthening the national narrative, and effectively countering fake news and anti-state propaganda.

He expressed these views during a meeting with Director General PEMRA Islamabad Faqir Afzal Masoom in Islamabad.

During the meeting, matters relating to PEMRA's role and performance were discussed in detail.

The Governor reaffirmed support for initiatives aimed at curbing fake news and promoting a positive image of Pakistan at national and international levels.
