Former Ambassador of Pakistan to the United Nations and former President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan says India's disinformation campaign reflects strategic insecurity while Pakistan's global standing is on rise.
In a statement, he described India's disinformation warfare as systemic, state-sponsored and ideologically driven.
Sardar Masood Khan noted that misinformation and propaganda have long been employed by the BJP and RSS to malign Pakistan. He said the Indian propaganda is not new, it has previously been exposed in Europe and rest of the world.
The former ambassador underscored that 2025 marks a breakthrough year for Pakistan's diplomacy, catalyzed by Pakistan's measured and responsible conduct during and after the May 2025 conflict with India.
Sardar Masood Khan noted that Pakistan's dignified acceptance of US-led ceasefire diplomacy, contrasted sharply with India's belligerence, significantly enhanced Islamabad's credibility in key global capitals.
He pointed out that approval of 686 million dollars F-16 upgrade package by the United States reflects renewed trust, enhanced interoperability, and recognition of Pakistan's role in regional peace and security.
