The 11th Beijing International Film Festival will be held from 14th to 21st of next month in Beijing.

Initiated in 2011, the festival aims to boost exchanges among global industry insiders, and has attracted increasing international attention due to China's booming film market.

According to data by box office tracker Maoyan, the country's 2021 box office revenue topped 4.2 billion dollars.
