Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam has directed the National Highway Authority to improve road infrastructure from Nasirabad Bridge to Sost on the Karakoram Highway.

Chairing a meeting in Gilgit today, he said improved roads will bring economic prosperity in the region.

Later, the Minister met with the President of the Ismaili Regional Council in Gilgit.

Matters related to the preparations for the visit of Prince Rahim Aga Khan to Gilgit-Baltistan were discussed during the meeting.
