Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Dr Musadik Malik met with Ambassador of Syria to Pakistan Dr Ramez Alraee in Islamabad on Thursday.

They discussed the prevailing situation in Syria and expressed their shared hope for lasting peace and stability in the region.

They unequivocally condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression and the unlawful occupation of Syrian territory.

Dr Musadik Malik reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering support for Syria's sovereignty, dignity, and territorial integrity. He stated that Pakistan has always stood by its brotherly country, Syria, and will continue to advocate for its rightful stance on the international stage. 

The Minister emphasized that peace in Syria is essential not only for the Middle East but for global stability.             

The Syrian Ambassador highlighted the severe hardships endured by the Syrian people due to continuous Israeli aggression.

He lauded the bravery and professionalism of the Pakistan Air Force.
