Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Haji Ghulam Ali has lauded the role of scholars belonging to all schools of thought in preservation of Islamic ideology in Pakistan.

Talking to a nine-member delegation of leading scholars in Peshawar on Saturday, he said it is necessary to enlighten the young generation about the Prophet's biography.

The Governor underlined the need of paying special attention to religious studies along with contemporary education in all educational institutions.

Chairman Islamic Ideological Council Dr Qibla Ayaz also met with the Governor and discussed important issues.
